The Walt Disney World Resort has just added 200 beautiful new villas to its growing number of guesthouses and accommodations available in Central Florida.
Just a few days ago, Disney announced the opening of a new extension of the Villas in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The new addition includes 200 new rooms, giving guests multiple accommodation choices and floor plans.
The new extension to Disney’s Grand Floridian includes one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas that can accommodate up to 12 adults. According to the Walt Disney World websiteeach villa offers a wide range of features and amenities, including:
- A fully equipped kitchenso you can prepare meals and snacks in the comfort of your villa
- Spacious living and dining areas where your family can share even more quality time after you return from the parks
- Separate bedrooms which offer space, privacy and tranquility – so it’s easy to rest, relax and recharge your spirit after every exhilarating holiday day
- A washer and dryerso you can travel light and always have fresh, clean clothes
The new villas also feature themes from everyone’s favorite Practically Perfect Nanny.
“The storyline we have going on with the live action of Mary Poppins – there are just a lot of hidden elements that visitors can find as they go,” said Shawn Moore, design manager at Disney World.
The newly opened villas are beautiful and still offer the same ease of access to the Walt Disney World parks that guests are accustomed to at the Grand Floridian Resort. Each villa also offers guests a spectacular view of the nightly fireworks and projection show at Cinderella Castle.
