Fan donates plasma to enable monthly trips to Disney World

A Disney superfan has made a New Year’s resolution to visit Disney World once a month in 2022, and she’s partially funding the trips by donating plasma.

TikToker Liz Gramlich, who goes by the name @diswithliz on the app, revealed her lofty TikTok goal earlier this year.

In the video, she enjoys a sip of Starbucks from a special Disney mug while smiling in front of Cinderella’s castle in the Magic Kingdom.

“When your New Year’s resolution is to go to Disney once a month,” the video reads.

In the caption, Gramlich reiterates that his goal for 2022 involves “Starbucks, rides, characters and hub grass.”

You, like many others, may be wondering exactly how Gramlich plans to fund those monthly trips to Florida.

After all, visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth does not come cheap.

A website called Mouse Hacking estimates that it would cost a family of four around $5,731 for a five-night stay at Walt Disney World this year. The estimate includes flights, travel to the park, accommodation, food, and park passes.

That works out to around $287 per day per person, meaning a five-day solo trip would likely cost around $1,435.

Inside the Magic also notes that the price to visit Disney World has increased recently.

Although the theme park is touted as a place where all your dreams come true, you can’t get there just by wishing for a star.

Gramlich has a plan for that.

A dream is a wish your heart makes, and she’s figured out how to fund this one without taking a serious hit to her wallet.

In the comments section on her TikTok, she explained that she helps fund travel by donating plasma twice a week.

“I make about $700 a month with my plasma,” she shared. “My sessions last about an hour each.”

Gramlich added that she buys an annual park pass and can fly from Philadelphia to Florida for about $50.

Many other Disney lovers rushed to the comments section to hail his bold but undeniably fun resolution.

It looks like the TikToker is doing quite well in keeping up with the resolution so far.

On Monday (February 7), she posted another video on the app that documented her February trip.

“We’re making progress on our New Year’s resolution to go to Disney every month for a year,” she said.
