When visitors come to Walt Disney World Resort, they can expect to see perfection, because that’s what the theme parks promote through their fantasy realm. After seeing adverts shimmering with magic and Cinderella’s Castle looming in beauty, it’s hard not to imagine that you’re about to step into a heavenly world once you visit it. In addition to the pictures, visitors see that the cost of Walt Disney World vacations has also increased, which leaves visitors with high expectations.

We recently covered how multi-day ticket prices have gone up at Walt Disney World. We used a 4 day trip as the basis for our comparisons. Park Hopper Plus 4-day tickets ranged from $546.65 to $708.57 and are now $559.53 to $708.57. It seems that on average multi-day tickets have gone up about $20 or so. On top of that, hotel room rates continue to rise and, although currently suspended, prices for annual passes to Disney World have increased, as well as the new Magic Key Pass to Disneyland. We’ve also seen food prices go up while portions go down, as well as an increase in alcoholic beverages. To add, the addition of Disney Genie+ is now a new financial opportunity for Disney, whereas before FastPasses were free.

When visitors enter the Walt Disney World property, they use one of the park’s seven entrances. These entrances have recently been redone to represent the new royal blue coloring we are seeing throughout the property for the 50th anniversary. Since the entrance signage is so new, many would assume this means it would be in good working order, however, it seems there are issues going on.

On her way to Disney Studios in Hollywood this morning, she noticed that after a week, Walt Disney World’s “Walt” still hadn’t been lit up. It looks like the lighting inside has been burned out for a while, but Disney hasn’t been able to fix it yet.

In the photo above you can see how noticeable the missing lighting is. Considering this is the first glimpse of the magic visitors can receive when visiting Disney World, and a place where many will feel the excitement of their Disney vacation, we hope to see the iconic signage soon. restored.

Disney will likely have to close the road in order to fix this issue, which would likely happen overnight as the entrance was one of the most common and popular used by visitors due to its location.
