Marvel’s Avengers add Hawkeye skin for Disney Show’s Clint Barton

Marvel’s Avengers have announced that they will be adding a new outfit for Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, true to the outfit he wore in the last show.

Barely the latest project in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Disney + show Hawk Eye, wrapped up this show content made its way into action role-playing Marvel’s Avengers. The latest content update from Marvel’s Avengers sees Clint Barton, one of the heroes known as Hawkeye, get a new skin that matches the outfit he was seen wearing in the season finale of Hawk Eye.

Adding outfits to the heart of the Marvel Cinematic Universe isn’t new to Marvel’s Avengers. For example, Natasha Romanoff got her white outfit from the 2021 movie Black Widow added to Marvel’s Avengers right after the film was released. Although Black Widow was one of the original characters in Marvel’s Avengers, fans were clamoring for developer Square Enix to add more precise outfits to the MCU movies. Since then, heroes like Black Panther, Thor, and even Spider-Man have updated their wardrobes with outfits faithful to the movie. Now Clint Barton’s Hawkeye joins this club.

Marvel’s Avengers announced on Twitter that in celebration of the broadcast of Marvel’s season finale Hawk Eye show on Disney +, Clint will be getting a new outfit to match that of his MCU counterpart. The black and purple outfit is based on the new costume Clint receives from his companions in episode six of Hawk Eye, where he fights alongside his protégé Kate Bishop against the tracksuit mafia, Kingpin and others. The new outfit will be available in the Marvel’s Avengers market from December 23.

Although it may seem a little awkward to have Marvel’s Avengers immediately capitalizing on the conclusion of Hawk Eye, the game and the MCU have worked hand in hand since launch to release new content. Besides Natasha Romanoff, the release of Spider-Man at Marvel’s Avengers, as well as outfits featured in many Web-Slinger movies, were added during marketing prep ahead of the release of Spider-Man: No Path Home. Square Enix also confirmed that several heroes, including Spider-Man and Black Panther, have their basic outfits inspired by those seen in the movies.

While these movie-faithful skins have no gameplay effect for Marvel’s Avengers, they can be useful for gamers who want to relive or recreate moments from movies or comics. Whether it’s players recreating the famous “Spider-Man Pointing” meme using the new skins, gamers love to play with the MCU versions of these heroes. Like Marvel’s Avengers Near the end of its sophomore year, fans are breathlessly waiting for the next hero to join the game’s roster.
