The bosses of ONCE Upon A Time will return to the fantasy world with a new TV series called Epic.
Network ABC has put the new series into development, with the series being seen as yet another romantic anthology series set in the world of Disney’s fairy tales.
As well as focusing on the princesses, princes, fairies, villains and woodland creatures we know and love, the series also plans to “create a whole new batch of characters as it explores love under all its forms “.
The series will take place in an enchanted forest; the forest made an appearance in Once Upon a Time, as it was a kingdom within Fairy Tale Land.
Once upon a time there was writer Brigette Hales and series creators Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz are behind the new series.
The show ran for eight years and ended in 2018. It was set in the fictional town of Storybrooke, Maine, with the character of Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) as the protagonist and Ginnifer Goodwin as the Snow White.

Kitsis and Horowitz had previously admitted that they weren’t sure if they would return to Oz’s world, but were “ready for someone else to do it and we can’t wait to see what that happens.” would”.
“We feel like we have told our story, which has been dear to our hearts for a very long time,” Horowitz added, speaking to The Hollywood Reporter.
“It was an idea we had over 15 years ago and we’re very happy with what we did and the way we did it and, if the series continued in some form or another. , I think we would be big fans. “
