Over 38,000 tickets sold for the Disney show

DOHA: Over 38,000 tickets have been sold for “Disney On Ice Celebrates 100 Years of Magic” which opens tomorrow at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC).

The four-day event will feature eight public and three private shows.

After months of preparation, the gorgeous skaters are ready to dazzle audiences as they prepare to take boys and girls, as well as moms and dads, on an enchanting journey through their favorite Disney stories, classics and news.

Produced by Feld Entertainment, Disney On Ice Celebrates 100 Years of Magic brings together an international team of award-winning skaters, beloved songs, stunning choreography, dazzling sets and beautiful costumes to provide fond Disney memories.

“We are really excited about the start of the shows. The cast and crew worked extremely hard and many hours went into making this mammoth production. From the ice rink to the innovative sets, including the iron-on sequins on the costumes, every detail has been refined to make it a unique experience. Tomorrow, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their Disney friends The Little Mermaid, The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast will hit the ice with beloved princesses Cinderella and Snow White.

Woody and Buzz from Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story, Nemo and Dory from Disney/Pixar’s Finding Nemo, and even Stitch from Lilo & Stitch join them in wreaking havoc at this big party.

Ahead of the opening, Mickey and Minnie Mouse were spotted around the city, including in front of Doha’s iconic Corniche skyline and visiting fans at a local mall.

Children and adults of all ages were thrilled to have their picture taken with their favorite Disney characters.
