Just as the Loki and Scarlet Witch shows might raise questions about the future of the MCU, so too does this potential Falcon / Winter Soldier series. Actor Chris Evans recently said goodbye to the role in a heartfelt post on Twitter after filming the film, signaling that he was stepping down from the franchise.

“Officially finished on Avengers 4,” he said. “It was a very emotional day to say the least. To play this role for the past 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.”
