Once Disney + debuted in 2019, subscribers were disappointed that some of these shows weren’t included. In fact, several different petitions have been made and surfaced on the internet to try to urge Disney to add some of these Playhouse Disney shows, along with other content, to the Disney + service.

If you are not familiar, Out of the box ran for three seasons from 1998 to 2002 on Playhouse Disney. The official description for the Playhouse Disney series reads as follows:

A group of children and their two caretakers have built a cool clubhouse with giant boxes. This is where they meet for music, games and special activities the kids can do around the house.

Out of the box released two special episodes that went straight to VHS by Walt Disney Home Video titled Ready to use: Trick or Treat and Ready to use: Happy Holidays.

The Playhouse Disney series was hugely popular in the late 90s and early 2000s and even won three Parents’ Choice Awards for Excellence in Television and an Emmy nomination.
